We are at the moment getting close to the peak of this season’s trade show events.
I have visited a number of trade shows in the last couple of months, and I’ve noticed that exhibitors are returning, but unfortunately, we’ve gone back 15 years, whereby the companies with the big budgets, exhibit with the sole intention of making their competition insignificant.
Let me tell you this should not be the case for you, and by following a few basic rules you could be as significant with a much smaller budget.
These are some basic points that anyone exhibiting should take notice of:
- Decide that you are going to exhibit at your Industry Trade Show early. This way you will be able to choose the best possible booth. Pay a little more for the location. Like in real estate, it’s location, location, location.
- When it comes to location, always keep in mind that the space above your head is yours, so use it wisely by installing a Blimp with the same dimensions as your floor space.
- Never use last years designs and message, you need to stay fresh, as your prospects will notice this and judge you.
- Make sure that the booth staff are well informed about the product you are exhibiting, well spoken and looking sharp.
- Do not forget for one moment that we live in the digital age, and your prospects enjoy interacting with any information centre you are able to make available.
Let me know if I can be of assistance in any of your decision making, so that together we can make your next exhibit, more significant!
